About the Author
Michael Mullooly is a lecturer in Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies. He is the Director of the Buddhist Studies Certificate Program at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha. He was a Ph.D. student in the Buddhist Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. When the program folded, he graduated with a Master of Arts degree in the Languages and Cultures of Asia. He also holds degrees in philosophy, history, and education from Marquette University. He has led tours of Asia numerous times. He has taught popular courses at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Waukesha since 2006. He also taught at Alverno College (2012-2015) and Marquette University (2019-2024). He is the author of World Religions as Personality Types (2015), Lifespan Spirituality (2018), Hall of Harmony (2020), What is Really Real? Lectures on the History of Buddhist Thought (2021) and What's My Spiritual Type? (2021). He is also the publisher of The Buddha Times.
